The "Rooftop" entry lid allows for a fully enclosed box design, your cat enjoys a greater sense of privacy and you enjoy a greater sense of cleanliness in your home. The rooftop has a perforated, non-skid surface that doubles as a litter catcher eliminating the need for an external matt and saves precious floor space. Stray kernels fall back through the holes or gravity gets them when the top is swiveled open for litter scooping. When lifted straight up, the rooftop pulls free from the base and gives full access to the ModKat Litter Liner for easy cleaning.

What's the scoop?
Our thoughtfully designed ModKat Litter Scoop has an ergonomic handle, angled to reach the depths of the ModKat Litter Box with minimal effort and curved to sit comfortably in your hand. The rounded front edge matches the radius of ModKat's rounded corners facilitating thorough scooping. A brush has been incorporated into the side of the scoop to return any stray litter or dust back inside and conveniently, the scoop slides onto the side of the box for easy storage and access.
